The reactance of the generator is 0.9 per unit on a 200 MVA basis. The field current of the generator is now increased by 25% and the torque applied by the prime mover to the shaft of the generator is held constant. Using 4 decimal places: I. Calculate the magnitude (in per unit) and angle of the new e.m.f. Assume a linear relation between the field current and the magnitude of the internal e.m.f. of the generator. [3 pts] II.
