I only need letters E through H answered, should be quick andsimple
1. Load Cells a. What are they? b. How do they work? c. What are their applications? d. What is this circuit (below) called, can you describe how it is implemented in a load cell? (in general, what makes it so special? what are the components (R1, R2, etc.) comprised of when used in a load cell?) i. 12V R₁ R₂ Vout=(Vc-Vo), R₂ Tw 2 f. e. What are their advantages/disadvantages? (when thinking of this type load cell) Are there alternative sensors that could provide an equivalent sensing capability? (i.e. are there other devices you could use instead of this one?) Can you explain how they differ in operation from this type of sensor? g. Are there different configurations of the circuit? What are their differences? h. Can you explain how the force applied to the load cell is translated into usable data (i.e. a force reading with units like weight)? Try making your own version of the layout shown on the next page and labeling what's going at each step/point.
