Problem 1 [25 points]: Figures below are for two generators working in parallel and supplying a load: fsys Assume: Gen 1 - Gen 2 Load Slope = 1 MW/Hz P₁[MW] Gen 1 0 --61.5 Hz ---61 Hz Slope = 1 MW/Hz Gen 2 P₂ [MW] • Gen 1 has a no-load frequency of 61.5Hz and a slope (SP1) of 1 MW/Hz • Gen 2 has a no-load frequency of 61.0Hz and a slope (SP2) of 1 MW/Hz • The total value of the loads is 2.5MW at 0.8 PF (Lagging) (a) Find the system frequency. (b) - Assuming the load is 3.5MW, find the power supplied by each generator.
