Group Assignment 1 (Instrumentation) A sensor is used to measure pressure in a liquid tank with output in resistance. The sensor's pressure to resistance output is shown in Appendix A, Table 1. Each group consists of 3 persons will select one of the available sensors. Write a report that has these three parts in detail. EEE 3483 INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL SYSTEM ENGINEERING First, design the transfer function to convert the sensor output from resistance to voltage with range of 0V to 5V. Clearly state the purpose of each transfer function involve like converting, offset, and amplifying. Second, realize the transfer function using electrical circuits comprising of components like resistors, capacitors, and ideal operational amplifier. Show all the component used, its value and reasons for the suppose value. Third, based on 8-bit ADC linearize the converted output to reflect the actual pressure sense by the pressure sensor. Use quadratic approximation to model the input output relation based on the given sensor data table and ADC output. Prove all calculations and plot the relation graph using MATLAB. The required graph is (1) input pressure against ADC output, (2) input pressure against linearize output, and (3) input pressure against linearizes output error.
