FoxFirst Consulting has received a ”Change Request” ticket fromone of their customers. The ticket has the following information:Issue preventing applications that use a Microsoft Jet database inMS Access 97 file format from opening. This issue occurs if thedatabase has column names greater than 32 characters. The databasefails to open with the error, “Unrecognized Database Format”.
• Following the discovery of this issue, Microsoft has releaseda patch in their February 12, 2019 monthly Rollup – KB4487025
• Identify what type of change request this is, and identify theplan to resolve the issue for the client
