• Cheese is the most significant source of saturated fat in the American diet, what can you do to reduce your intake to reduce
your risk for disease? Will this be difficult for vou?
• Assess your diet: Are you consuming a lot of Omega-6 fatty acids by eating fried foods, chicken and turkey, oils, and/or
packaged snack foods? What is your intake of plant foods rich in Omega-3 i.e. flax seeds, chia seeds, and/or walnuts? What
three changes can you make to your diet to improve the balance by reducing the sources of Omega-6 and increasing the
sources of Omega-3 fats in your diet?
Discuss your thoughts about reducing your intake of oils. Is cooking without oil something you could feasibly do. Why or why
