Instructions: Create a report performing a significance test in each article of your choice. 1. Find an article in the Pew Research Center that presents a claim about a proportion. (Example: One in five Americans use a smart a smart watch. Prepare at least THREE articles. Working links should be included, as well as a short summary about the article chosen. 2. Formulate a null and alternative hypothesis for each article that you think is applicable for the situation (Example: I believe that American people use a smart watch, so my alternative hypothesis is Ha: p > 0.21). Provide a short justification on why that is your null hypothesis. 3. Check whether the conditions of one-sample z-test for p is satisfied for each article. 4. Choose and appropriate significance level and provide a short justification for each article.
