A professor conducted an experiment to investigate the effect of three different instructional approaches for improving learning. Nine subjects are randomly assigned to three groups with three subjects in each group, and educational messages presented in treatments 1, 2 & 3. After the treatments were applied, the students were scored on the basis of a test. Summary of the scores is as follows: SST=279.556 SS(Approach)= 57.556, T₁ = 169, T₂ = 187, T3 = 182 (a) Test for any differences in mean scores among three different approaches. Use a = = 0.05. (b) Is there any difference between Approach 1 and 2 at 5% level?
