The ingredient weights for making 1 yd3 (cyd) ofconcrete by assuming aggregates in SSDstate are given below. Coarse Aggregates: 1,575 lb; FineAggregates: 1,100 lb; Cement: 700lb; Water: 315 lbAfter performing a trial batch, it is determined that we need toincrease the mix water content from 315 lb to 328.5 lb to correctthe slump. For the same ingredients, recalculate the weightof cement to achieve a concrete withthe same compressive strength as theoriginal concrete mix design.
