The temperature of the air stream that passes the thermocouple is 500 K and the heat transfer coefficient between the wires and the air is 3 W/m² K. In steady state, the temperature of the thermocouple wires at the walls is 300 K. The wires have a diameter of 1 mm. L₁= L₂= 0.025 m. Please determine the temperature measured by the thermocouple (at junction). Kchromel = 17 W/m K and Kalumel = 48 W/m K. Assume that a chromel-alumel thermocouple can be modeled as two fins.
