Modeling Assignment 4 Create an engineering drawing of the model shown below. • Units in inches. • If there are any dimensions missing, use your own values so that the model resembles the one below. • Use the mech3305.frm template. • Your drawing should have only the model views necessary to dimension all the part's features which can include the principle orthographic views, auxiliary views, or cross-section views. (Not all of these types of model views may be needed.) • Your drawing can display the dimensions in decimal format. • You only need to submit a single PDF file named LastName.pdf. The PDF can have multiple drawing sheets. Points will be deducted as follows (100 points max): • 5 points for failing to follow the format of the file names. • 5 points for failing to submit a single PDF file. • Up to 40 points for model views and their placement. • Up to 30 points for errors in dimensioning (missing centerlines, missing dimensions, dimension text exceeds drawing border, dimension placement leads to confusion, dimension text overlaid on model views, etc.).
