We tested the agents against only Escherichia coli. The lab manual also tests them against Staphylococcus aureus. Think about what you know about these two species. Why would these two species be used in testing? Do you think we would have gotten the same results if we tested these agents against Staphylococcus aureus? Explain your thinking.
