I-A three phase asynchronous motor with an output power of 315 KW, stator in delta, 220V-50 Hz, 1485 rpm, the efficiency is 94.9%. The ratio of torques Tstarting Tnominal = 1.1, the ratio of currents Istart/Inom = 7. The power factor is 0.91. Find: 1-The slip of the motor 2-The starting current 3- The starting torque 4- The same values in (2) and (3) if we change the stator connection to star. The motor drives by direct coupling a mechanical load with a resistant torque Tr 0.27 N. The mechanical characteristic Te-f(N) is assumed linear in its useful part.
