Your patient was involved in an automobile accident. She has a
2¾" × 1½" area of missing subcutaneous
tissue on her left thigh. The area around it is reddened and the
wound is weeping serosanguineous fluid
with cream-colored exudate. Her temperature is 101.4° F and her
WBCs are 13,420 mm°?. What do you
think would be the priority problem statements? What are the
defining characteristics for this problem?
- Write an expected outcome for each of the above problem
statements
- What interventions would you list on your nursing care plan
for these problems?
