A group of students have noted that the sidewalks on TempleStreet have more cracks than those located on Cambridge and BeaconStreets.
Develop a hypothesis that might explain this observation.
2. Design anexperimental system to test this hypothesis.
Include thefollowing in your design:
a) The type of measurements of sidewalk surface
b) How these measurements are to be made and documented
c) The number of measurements required for a significantevaluation
d) The types of samples (experimental systems) that will bemeasured
e) Which samples will serve as controls.
f) Which samples will serve as a model for your experimentalsystem.
3. Make up someresults (the one and only time that you will doso in science!!).
4. Decidewhether these results support or negate your hypothesis?
5. Why? (Justifyyour decision.)
6. Show the datagraphically
