As part of the requirements from the company's board of directors, management should implement robust information systems to simplify learning for both employees and enrolled candidates. Quality is valued at the Mega Capital and all projects undergo Quality Assurance from an external vendor including thorough testing. End of Section B Mega Capital's Management hired you to do an analysis and document all requirements of a new Learning Experience Platform (LxP). You are required to design the overall system applying good design principles. The Learning Experience Platform will be made of a Web Application and Mobile Application compatible with both Android and IOS. You will also be required to study the agile project management approach and apply it during the development project. A Learning Experience Platform is a system that is meant to consolidate educational content from numerous content providers and allow learners to subscribe and access it in one central place. Content can be in form of journal articles, videos, PowerPoint presentations etc. (e.g., An educational video from Linkedin Learning can be referred to as one piece of content in the Learning Experience Platform). As part of the business process, Mega Capital will hire Content Curators who will create or source all the content, then categorise the content into different topics and captures the content. The Learning Development Manager oversees the work of Content Curators. The Learning Development Manager receives content from Curators for moderation, he/she then amends and approves the content, and then submits it to the Admin Office. The content is captured per topic, a topic belongs to a channel and a channel belongs to a content provider. A Learner can subscribe to and consume one or many pieces of content. A topic can have one or more pieces of content. Curators are allowed to create or source one or more pieces of content per topic. The Learning Experience Platform should also have a functionality for Learners to check their content completion rate, report irrelevant and unclear content, like the content, rate the content and chat with Content Curators. Before deploying the system in Production, the project team will embark on a data take-on exercise because an operational system requires a fully populated database to support ongoing processing. As part of the non-functional requirements, the system's user Interface must have consistency. The Learning Experience Platform must have 70% uptime and have quick response time. Users should be able to use Multifactor Authentication. Lastly, Mega Capital's Management is worried about the budget and needs the project team to maintain the scope.
