Facts: A software Engineer A has worked for the Company Google for 5 years before he quit. Now, he is working for the company Microsoft as a senior software designer but continues to do part- time work for Google without informing his new company. Engineer A has proposed to his Manager to buy a piece of software from Google. After some time, Engineer B has discovered that his colleague Engineer A is still working for Google and he suggested to the manager to buy the software from Google. Engineer B has informed the management about what he discovered, and an internal complaint is filed within Company Microsoft regarding nepotism/favoritism. Company Microsoft determines that the prices from Company Google were in fact within the market pricing range and that the requested software meets Company Microsoft's standards.
