A 250 KVA, single phase transformer rated 2300/460 V, 60 Hz hasprimary and second impedances of 0.09 + j 0.9 ohms and 0.02 +j 0.2 ohms respectively.
a. Calculate the full-load copper loss.
b. The core loss is 1500 W when the voltage of 2000 V, 50 Hz isapplied to the transformer and 500 W at 1000 V, 25 Hz. Calculatethe core loss at above conditions and the maximum efficiency.
c. Calculate the %VR at 0.8 power factor lagging using theformula with per unit resistance and reactance.
