An electric motor with rating of 7.5 kW is used to drive a water pump with a pump efficiency of 80%. Frictional losses in the motor is found to be at 380 W. If the water is conveyed at a 22,708.8 kgf/ hr flow rate at a discharge pressure of 896.071 kPa, solve for the suction pressure of the pump, if the source is located below the pump centerline.
