Case 1 : Dynamic analysis (forces) is needed of a four-bar mechanism shown below. The velocity and angular acceleration of link 2 (crank) are 30 rad/s and 140 rad/s2 respectively. The dimensions of the mechanism are: OA=20 cm; OG2-10 cm; AB=30 cm; AG3-15 cm; BC=40 cm; CG4-20 cm; OC=60 cm and the angle between AOC-60°. Suppose the links are of uniform profile along their entire length. Link masses: link 2 = 25 kg; link 3 = 10 kg and link 4 = 30 kg. Link moment of inertia: link 2 = 0.02 kg m2; link 3 = 0.01 kg m2 and link 4 = 0.03 kg m2. Determine the forces applied to the joints.
