The pinion of a helical gear pair, similar to that in Q5, with a normal module of 4 mm and a normal pressure angle of 200, is supported in bearings equally spaced on either side of the centre line of the gear. The pinion has 21 teeth, and the helix angle is 40 degrees. If the speed of the pinion is 1067 rev/min and 75kW is being transmitted, find the radial load supported by one of the bearings in kN. Give your answer to 2dp.
