In the image, it shows a stained SDS polyacrylamide gel with asingle band of the polypeptide in lane 1, which has 1 band.Lane 2, which has 3 bands, shows the same polypeptide after it wascleaved with a chymotrypsin protease. Each band in lane 2corresponds to a polypeptide fragment after cleavage withchymotrypsin. Is lane 2 accurate for what you would expect for thenumber of fragments seen after cleavage? Explain yourreasoning.
