CASE 1. There are three experimenters, A, D, and B. D's velocity towards B and away from A is 0.9c. Light waves from B approaches D at 1.9c and 0.1c from A relative to D.
A. Use formula and solution to prove or disprove that: (Rubric 5 x 2 = 10 marks)
(1) D finds by making measurements in his reference frame that light from B approaches him at speed c;
(2) The light from A, which left A at speed c, catches up from behind at speed c relative to D
B. Conceptual symbols (Point system, 10 marks)
C. Analysis of the case (Rubric 5 x 3 = 15 marks)
(1) How light travels base on reference frame
(2) Location of the experimenters and speed of light
(3) Speed of light with respect to the reference frame
C. Illustration of the case (Rubric, 5 marks)
