QUESTIONS The 1.8 kg collar shown in Figure 7 is released from rest against the light elastic spring, which has a stiftness of 1750 N/m and has been compressed a distance of 150mm. The kinetic friction between the collar and the vertical shaft is a constant 0.15 Newtons while the collar is in motion.
