According to Healthy people 2030, our status seems to be
improving (Healthy people 2030). Education is important to our
health because people with higher education tend to be healthier
and live longer (Healthy people 2030). Higher education can lead to
better-paying jobs and better ways of living, i.e., healthier
diets. Education is important in a hospital setting as a nurse
explains a procedure or medications to a patient (Patricia, 2020).
Knowing what level of education, a patient or client has will
better inform the nurse how to explain the care plan to patients in
a way they will understand. This will have a better outcome for the
patient if they know and participate in their care plan
more.

Healthypeople.gov describes that "high school graduation
is an important predictor for overall health outcomes. High school
graduates have less chance of being in prison, greater financial
stability as adults, and fewer health problems". What do you
believe could be done to continue this trend of increasing
graduating numbers of high school students?
