Is Social Isolation (loneliness) evolving into an "epidemic"? (do not limit to the aging population/elderly) Incorporate professional thoughts on social isolation as: 1) social issue, and/or 2) public health issue. Focus on evidence based content. For example:
*Recognize loneliness as a treatable health-related
social need and incorporate into clinical operating
models.
*Advocate for policy and regulatory changes that
will support social connectedness. (i.e. older
adults: Older Americans Act (OAA)
reauthorization)
