Green Active sport center has 30 grass
tennis courts. The courts need to be watered every day, and the
grasses should be cut regularly (usually once a week). If a court
is planned for a match, then it should be prepared a day before (in
terms lining, net, rest benches and so on).
Court maintenance team works 8 hours a
day. They start their work at 8 am and finish at 4 pm. They have 45
minutes for lunch, 15-minute coffee break in the morning, 15 minute
coffee break in the afternoon. It also takes them 15 minutes to
wear the work clothes in the morning and 15 minutes to take off and
clean them in the afternoon. Another 45 minutes (in average) a day
is usually spent to move between different tennis courts.
Watering the court takes one hour of
one person of the maintenance team. Cutting the grasses needs one
person for one hour, and preparation also need one member of the
maintenance team for one hour.
