Exercise 2 Instead of a hexagon, imagine a cylindrical lens as in the side view given in Figure 3. Reminder: you can click on any image in the manual to make it larger. a. Do you think the rays would converge or diverge inside the lens? nair = 1.0 1 Point nglass= 1.4 What happens if the lens is smooth? Figure 3 b.
