For a wavelength of 532 ± 10 nm measure the angle ofthe first order line for a diffraction grating of 100 lines/mm, 300lines/mm, 600 lines/mm and 1000 lines/mm.
Explain how the angle of the first order line depends on thespacing between the lines of a diffraction grating.
Part B
For a diffraction grating of 100 lines/mm, measure theangle of the first order line for the followingwavelengths: 405 ± 10 nm, 532 ± 10 nm, 635 ± 10 nm.
Does increasing the frequency of the wave cause the light to bediffracted more, or less? Use evidence from the questions above tosupport this.
