The terminal carboxyl group is predicted to have a pK, of 3.34 (predicted by MarvinSketch). However, I need to measure this pK, experimentally to be validate this number. So, here is where you all come into the project. I want to use the predicted number to simulate the titration curve to design the proper experiment to get a good data set from which I can accurately determine the pK, for this carboxyl group. My initial design is as follows: Start with 10 mL of 10 mM 10B-10 in the beaker. In the burette I will use 10 mM NaOH. Please calculate and plot the pH values (in Excel) that you calculate to the right of the listed total volume of 10 mM NaOH that was added. In the plot, the pH is on the y-axis. Show all of your work (you can take a picture of your work and insert into this document) and insert your Excel plot into this Word document.
