A pulley system consists of six parts; a shell, a sheave, a base, one M24 bolt, one M24 nut and one M12 bolt. They are to be assembled together. Note that washers are not required. The front and right end views of the shell, sheave and base are shown in first angle projection in Figure Q1-2. The M24 bolt that is required to be shown in the assembly has the following details: Thread length 35 mm Bolt length 100 mm The M12 bolt that is required in the assembly has a bolt length of 16 mm and is fully threaded Assemble the six parts together and then answer Questions 1 and 2. Question 1 Draw the front view for the whole assembly. The orientation of the front view of the assembly follows the front view of the shell shown in Figure Q1-2. (20 marks) Question 2 Using first angle projection, draw the sectional view A-A of the whole assembly projected from the Front view. The location of the cutting plane A-A is indicated in the view of the shell in Figure Q1-2. (20 marks)
