Why don't we convert the grams of ice to mol? I know theequation is q=n*Cn*change in T I understand the problem, I justdon't understand why this problem you don't convert it to moles. Isit because the given Cm was in Joules and no Kj? Or is it becausethe units for the Cm values are given in grams except for thechange in H fusion?
From the data beloow, calculate the total heat needed to convert22 g of ice at -6.00 C to liquid water at 0.500 C
mp=0 C change in H fus = 6.02 Kj/mol
Cliquid= 4.21 J/g Csolid= 2.09 J/g
