In chapter 19 you were asked to speculate on why a disease suchas polio has become less virulent over time, while rabies has not.Malaria has also not become less virulent over time. There isevidence that HIV is becoming less virulent in humans. Is there apattern you can discern in microbes that don’t become less virulentover time?
