PLEASE HELP I WILL RATE
AS is a 37yo female with a 20-year history of diabetes mellitustype 1. Her current insulin regimen is insulin degludec 15 units SQat bedtime and a sliding scale befor meals. Her mealtime insulinyesterday insulin aspart4 units SQ with breakfast and lunch and 8units SQ with dinner.
Prior to breakfast today, her BG is 180 mg/dL. Her goal fastingis <110mg/dL. She plans to consume a meal with 30 grams ofcarbohydrates.
Utilizing glycemic correction and carbohydrate counting, howmany units of lispro should she inject prior to breakfast?
