Then answer questions that follow. Diversified Widget and Gadget Works, Inc. (DWGW) plans to use the MST Motor Skills Test to make selection decisions for job openings on the widget production line. Relevant information about the MST and its relationship with widget production is presented in Figure 1 below. The company has decided that meeting or exceeding the production standard of 100 widgets per day represents "competent" performance for workers on the widget production line. Their current plan is to hire job applicants who score 40 or better on the MST.
