Background
Business Intelligence (BI) is a technology-driven process for analyzing data and presenting actionable information to help corporate executives, business managers and other end users make more informed business decisions.
BI technologies include analytics, data mining, and predictive modeling. Business Analytics, on the other hand, includes statistical and predictive tools.
Discussion Question
Discuss the following question in a well written, graduate-level paper of three (3) pages.
Is there a difference between business intelligence and business analytics? If not why not? If so, why?
