12M COMP 96--- Business Application Modeling Component: Course Presentation & Report Weightage: 20% Key Project Dates: • Submission & presentation is scheduled for 12th week. Project progress reviews to be done on regular basis in the class. ● • Project Deadlines: Project Report Submission 12th Week Project Presentation Submission 12th Week Project Presentation Viva Exam 12th Week Guidelines: • Students are supposed to prepare a report (.doc, .docx, .pdf). Max pages - Up to 15 pages. • Students are supposed to prepare the presentation (.ppt, .pptx) based on the report. Maximum number of slides Up to 15 Slides. All submissions are to be done in eLearning. • Project topic should be submitted in advance for approval. Student can research & refer material available online but SHOULD writer report & ppt in their own words. • Project Execution: Individual or Group based. Group can have maximum 2 students. Outline: 1. Introduction of Business - Students are free to choose Business according to their area of interest a. Objective of the business. b. Business Need Assessment and Recommended Solution 2. Develop the core concept model for the business 3. Derive the functional decomposition & UML for the business. 4. Derive the data model by proposing the entity relationship for the business. 5. Solution model with Functions, Phases, Strength & Limitations. 6. Learning from the project. 7. Scope of Improvement. 8. References.
