An input or output stream of data from the computer can represent multiple sources and destinations. Suppose you were to stream data off the hard drive and alter it. Next you took the altered data and wrote it back to the hard drive in another file. There are many elements needed for this to work properly. What are two of the many elements that would be necessary to accomplish this successfully? (For instance, one must close a file out after it is used to give back the system resources.) Write two elements and try NOT to duplicate your fellow classmates. Then expand a paragraph if possible, explaining these elements. (For instance, what happens if you don't close a file and system resources are not returned?) As a follow-up, write out one function that a loop could do during this reading and writing of data to the hard drive. If possible, when writing your original post, select an example that has not been covered by another student. If you want to discuss a situation that others have already posted about, try to approach it from a different angle or your own perspective. Respond to your peers by researching and using critical information to see if they can defend their position.
