Themaximum permissible pressure is 172 bar and the efficiency oftransmission of the pipes and valves between the pump and motor isestimated as 60%. Assuming a volumetric efficiency of 90% and anoverall efficiency of 80% for both pump and motor, determinesuitable maximum capacities for both units, maximum oil flow rate,minimum pressure at the pump delivery and the motor torqueassociated with this pressure.
