A 25.0 mL sample of the iron solution required a total of 53.2 mL of 0.150 M KMnO4 to reach the equivalence point. When Fe²+ is titrated with MnO4', the Fe²+ is oxidized to Fe³+ and the MnO4 is reduced to Mn²+. a. Complete and balance the overall reaction equation. b. What is the concentration of the Fe²+ solution? c. What mass of iron was used to make the iron solution?
