Question 3 In an effort to study thermal stability of Material Z, a student conducted TGA analysis on the material to obtain its onset of degradation. Extract of TGA thermogram of Material Z is in Figure 1. The thermogram however does not appear as what the student expected. Mass/g Temperature / °C (i) Interpret the thermogram and suggest what could have went wrong. (ii) Suggest how can this problem be resolved.
