On a PCR gel, you see the following: Lane 1 Ladder - The correct bands are present in the ladder lane. Lane 2 - Negative control - No bands are present in the negative control lane. Lane 3- Positive control - One clear band is present in the positive control lane. Lane 4 Sample 1- No bands are present in the sample 1 lane.
