Ammnoia Nh3 Is Synthesized By Reacting Nitrogen N2 With Hydrogen H2 Following The Equation Reaction N2 3h2 1 (56.5 KiB) Viewed 8 times
Ammnoia (NH3) is synthesized by reacting nitrogen (N2) with hydrogen (H2) following the equation reaction: N2 + 3H2 - > 2nh3. This reaction process is organized in a fixed bed reactor with a model isothermal operation. The flow Diagram of the ammonia synthesis process is presented in the figure below. If H2 conversion (X 32) by 30%, calculate the heat (Q) that must be transferred to the cooling medium.
F₁ = 100 mol/s H₂ = 75%-mol N₂ = 25%-mol T₁ = 200°C Q=? REAKTOR F₂= ? mol/s H₂ = ?%-mol N₂ = ?%-mol T₂ = 200°C
