Question 2 A mixing tank shown in Figure 2 receives feed from two different streams of liquid. Stream 1 has volumetric flowrate Fi and temperature T₁. Stream 2 is equipped with a pump and delivers fluid at a flow F2 and temperature T₂. The level of fluid in the tank is given by L. The tank is assumed to be well-mixed. The temperature of the liquid in the tank is given by T. The outlet stream (Stream 3) is equipped with a pump which delivers a volumetric flowrate F3.
