Situation 12: An isolated footing is to support a 450 mm x 450 mm column that carries a DL of 200 KN and a LL of 160 KN. The base of the footing is 1.5 m below the natural grade line and the weight of the soil is 17 KN/m^3
Use Fy = 415 MPa and fc`= 28 MPa. Soil Bearing Capacity q = 160 Kpa.
Assume 8% of the total column load for the weight of footing.
Mxdl = 30 KN - m Mxll = 20 KN - m
Mydl = 30 KN - m Myll = 20 KN - m
