He has also noticed black stools for the last 2 days. Assessment data: BP 82/60, HR 120, RR 28, skin cool, Hgb 5, Hct 16 What type of shock do you suspect? 2. While working in the cardiology clinic, you see Dorothy, age 69. She has a history of coronary disease and diabetes. She tells you that she has noticed progressive shortness of breath and dizziness, and that she always feels cold. Assessment data: BP 78/54, HR 140 & irregular, crackles in both bases, lips cyanotic. ECG shows a new onset of atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular response. What type of shock do you suspect?
