Forsteady state conditions, the average current through the inductoris 8 A. Sketch the boost converter, labeling all components. Sketchthe voltage waveforms across the IGBT, the Diode, and the inductor,and the respective current waveforms for the converter for theabove condition.
b) Derive the relationship between the duty ratio D which is theratio of the time the IGBT is on to the period, and the outputvoltage. Hence calculate the duty ratio of the converter. Assumethe capacitance value of the filter capacitor at the output is suchthat there is a low ripple voltage.
c) Derive a relationship between output voltage ripple and thesize of capacitor.
