Many penetration tests start out using the request for proposal(RFP) process to hire a person or organization to complete the pentest. Please use one of the RFP's provided for completingthis assignment. While you are not responding to the RFP, youwill be using it to complete written documentation tosupport the process.
You can either assume that you are completing this on your ownas an independent penetration tester, or that you are part of alarger organization that completes pen testing. If you arepart of a larger organization, there are multiple resources thatcan be drawn upon for completing a pen test. For example, youmay have someone that specializes in perimeter testing whilesomeone else focuses on web application testing.
Based on the information in Module 4, prepare a test plan forthe customer that includes the following:
