The hotel offers only one type of accommodation – standardrooms. There are a total of 100 rooms to be booked each night. Thehotel offers two room rates: early bird rate (booked at least twoweeks before the first day of stay) and regular rate. Based onhistorical data of nightly reservations, the number of guests whoqualify for the early bird rate is uniformly distributed between 50and 80 while the number of guests who make a room reservationwithin two weeks of stay is uniformly distribution between 25 and45. Assume each guest makes a reservation for only one room, andthe hotel faces the same distributions of guests every night.
1. If the early bird rate is $80 and it is optimal for thehotel to set the booking limit for the early bird rate at 65 rooms, how much is the regular rate? Please write a numberONLY (no units or other texts).
2.Suppose hotel sets the regular rate at $120. Additionally, thehotel revises its estimate for the distribution of the number ofregular-rate guests. As a result, it is now optimal for the hotelto set the booking limit for the early bird rate at 75 rooms. Whatis the probability that the number of regular-rate guests isgreater than 25? Please write your answer in the format of0.xx.
3. Suppose the distributions of the early-bird andregular-rate demand are as originally given in 5. and the earlybird rate is $80 while the regular rate is $120. Please select ALLof the statements below which will cause the optimal protectionlevel to increase. Assume each statement takes place one at atime.
A. The regular rate increases to $150.
B. The early bird rate increases to$100.
C. The early-bird demand is uniformlydistributed between 40 and 60.
D. The regular-rate demand is uniformlydistributed between 25 and 50.
E. The hotel has 120 rooms (insteadof 100 rooms).
F. The regular rate increases to $150and the early bird rate increases to $100.
