a. Always interpreted strictly. For example, if thecontract says, "delivery is to be on June 1" then delivery must beon that day or a breach will occur.
b. Will be interpreted strictly if the contract clearlystates that late performance will not be accepted or uses otherlanguage to clearly convey a similar idea for the performingparty.
c. Are prohibited by law.
